Abstract

LegalEagle is an AI-powered legal services platform built to transform access to justice in India by overcoming barriers of affordability, transparency, and reach. The system leverages a scalable microservices architecture and integrates advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to deliver intelligent legal support. AI is used in two key areas: (1) for dynamically matching clients with the most suitable legal professionals using zero-shot classification of user queries and uploaded documents, and (2) through an interactive legal chatbot trained on the Indian Penal Code and common law to assist users in real time. The platform features a secure dual-login system that distinctly manages access for clients and lawyers. In addition, LegalEagle includes support for automated document parsing (PDF/DOCX), enabling clients to upload legal materials that are then analyzed for context-aware lawyer recommendations. The appointment booking system, although not a central focus, is equipped with conflict detection mechanisms that prevent overlapping bookings by validating time slots against existing appointments in real time. This unctionality enhances scheduling reliability and ensures smooth interactions between clients and lawyers.
